The Arab countries account for 30-40% of the sales of the company, says Mr. Kiril Argirov, co-owner of Electrostart. Most of the products of the company are delivered to the clients in containers.

In a time when producers are holding back investments, the Plovdiv-based Jupiter 05 is building a modern factory for hot dip zinc coating with a 13 m long tub. The factory spans 25,000 sq.m and is due to be completed in April – with a total investment of BGN 21.5 million. The company, owned by Nikolay Ivanov, is one of the largest producers of metal constructions. It produces road fences (guard rails), electricity transmission poles, warehouse components, fire stairs and others.

Close to 85% of the production of the battery factory is exported to the EU. Ever since the privatization of the factory in 1998 the owner Prista Oil continuously invests in it. The production of lead-acid batteries used in cars and transportation vehicles was increased tenfold. New production capacities were created for production of starter and IGM batteries. In 2007 the company acquired another Bulgarian battery factory – Start, Dobrich.

Entrepreneurial spirit led the creation of one of the most advanced production facilities for design and manufacturing of optical, opto-electric and opto-mechanical assemblies and devices for military and civil purposes. The first production line was started in 1999. Since then, each year the management of OPTIX adds new production capabilities to the factory, with high-tech equipment, and a complete production process – with in-house design, prototyping and production of elements, assemblies and devices.
