Each Good Solution Is a Best Practice

In 2002 Indesit Company Bulgaria had three clients and a market share of 13%. Nine years later it achieved a record market share of 25% for its two brands – Indesit and Hotpoint-Ariston.

 


Alena Georgieva, regional manager for Bulgaria and the Balkans of Indesit Company, comments on these nine years: “Many companies consider some of their best years to be the ones during the economic boom when business went easily and without any problems. I believe that the easy times relax us too much, and soften the sharpness of our perception which is fundamental to business. In the days of hardship we receive our most valuable lessons, and each good solution is a best practice.”

 

 


Although sales of household appliances continue to fall in Bulgaria and on the Balkans, Mrs. Georgieva is an optimist because she believes that the development of the crisis is also based on mathematical relationships that, in time, will trigger mechanisms which will lead to renewed growth.
