On the Road With Oversized Loads

Anyone can transport a regular load, but not everybody can transport an oversized load. Or, as Mladen Ganchev, General Manager of Holleman Bulgaria, puts it - oversized loads are a simple business for smart people. The operations are very specific, and require special equipment, special skills, special organization as well as permits. In order to help its readers, LOGISTIKA magazine decided to ask the leading companies in the industry about the particularities of their operations, and received responses from 10 managers of leading Bulgarian transportation companies. They share their views on the state of this sector and its future prospects. Main problems that companies in oversized loads transportation face are also discussed. They also mention the most common mistakes that clients make, which may lead to higher prices for transportation. We publish separately a brief information about the companies and their technical resources.
