The main task of Emil Todorinov, Logistics Manager with the wine production company Telish, is to supply the materials for the production process, and to contract the transportation services for the export of the products. He reports directly to the owner of the company.

For the national market, the wines are expedited to Bibendum, a distribution company. “We have outsourced the distribution for the national market, and I am in the middle of the chain between our company and Bibendum”, explains Emil Todorinov.

Telish exports wine to 14 countries around the world. “The transportation is done by forwarding companies, using road vehicles or ships. In road transportation, I seek the most cost-efficient option for reloading of the goods – warehouses in Hamburg for example. In the case when we ship to Brazil, again I contract a forwarding company which delivers the containers to the wine cellars where we load them. Then the forwarding company transports the containers to Burgas where they are loaded on a ship”, says Emil Todorinov as he explains his daily duties.
