New Logistics Bases Are Adapting to The Market

What happens on the market for industrial and logistics real estate in 2011? What are the rent rates of office and warehouse space in logistics bases? Should we expect any surprises this year? We asked those questions to Anton Slavchev, manager for Office and Industrial Space with Colliers International.
“Supply of industrial and logistics space for rent grew slightly in the second half of 2010, totaling 441,200 sq.m (including facilities let by logistics operators). Sofia is seeing the formation of several rent “clusters”, including space let by logistics operators. The largest zone is around Sofia Airport with 17% of the logistics market in Sofia, followed by Gorubliane (14%), facilities along Botevgradsko Chaussee (12%), and Kazichane (7%),” says Mr. Slavchev in his analysis.
